Safety Policy

Medifill will manufacture synthetic adhesives to sell to the medical device, cosmetic and veterinarian markets. The site will manufacture the synthetic adhesive onsite and fill the products under aseptic class 100 environment. The market presentation will be in a mono-dose format in the range of 0.5ml, 1ml and 2ml.

This Safety Statement has been introduced, not merely to comply with the requirements of section 20 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, but also to provide a means whereby, Medifill will be able to identify, assess and control existing and future risks through a proactive approach throughout the organisation.

Safety of all our team members is of primary importance at Medifill.

A safe workplace is a prerequisite to our operations.

We will endeavour to make our place of work conform to all our health and safety obligations highlighted throughout legislation and best practice. Our Safety Statement will form the main basis of our health & Safety Management System. We ask all of our team members to take individual responsibility for their own safety; to ensure they are informed of all potential hazards associated with their jobs and of safe working practices and special safety rules and procedures that apply.

To ensure that our work is performed in a safe manner, we will identify potential hazards associated with our operations and will provide training for personnel in these risks and in their associated control measures.

Our policy is to continually improve and strive for the highest safety goals possible. It is the policy of Medifill to take all practical steps to provide and maintain safe systems and conditions of work and that the activities of the company should not endanger employees, contractors, members of the public or the environment nor put the organisation or its facilities at risk.

The organisation undertakes to manage safety, health and welfare as it manages all other functions within the organisation. It firmly places a ‘from the top down’ approach to health and safety onsite, from myself the Managing Director/Head of Research and Development, to all Medifill’s senior management and right down to all our employees.
